NGC 1464 = NGC 1471 is a spiral dwarf galaxy of the Hubble type S / P in the constellation Eridanus in the southern sky . It is an estimated 74 million light years from the Milky Way and about 15,000 light years across.
The object was discovered by Lewis Swift on November 1, 1886 .
