NGC 2129 is a type III3p open star cluster on the border of the constellations Gemini and Taurus in the immediate vicinity of the summer point. NGC 2129 has an apparent magnitude of 6.7 mag and a diameter of 6 '. The cluster is about 5000 light years away from the solar system and has a diameter of about 10 light years . At 10 million years old, it is one of the youngest of its kind.
