NGC 2152 is a barred spiral galaxy of the Hubble type SBa in the constellation Pictor in the southern sky . It is estimated to be 362 million light years from the Milky Way and about 120,000 light years in diameter.
The object was discovered by John Herschel on December 28, 1834 .
