The Nagelbrink is a nature reserve in the Lower Saxony town of Bad Pyrmont in the Hameln-Pyrmont district .
The nature reserve with the sign NSG HA 146 is 3 hectares in size. In the south it borders directly on the “ Winzenberg ” nature reserve in North Rhine-Westphalia . The area has been a nature reserve since April 5, 1990. The responsible lower nature conservation authority is the district of Hameln-Pyrmont.
The nature reserve is located southwest of Bad Pyrmont on the edge of the Weserbergland Schaumburg-Hameln Nature Park and protects a moderately steep slope on the Hohberg in the Pyrmonter Bergland , which is exposed to the south-east . Here species - rich semi -arid grasslands are preserved as remnants of the earlier forms of cultivation on shallow soil on weathered limestone . Dry bushes and extensively used grassland can also be found.
