Nahouri is a province in the Center-Sud region of the West African state Burkina Faso with 159,348 inhabitants (2013) on 3748 km².
It is located in the south of the country on the border with Ghana and consists of the five departments of Guiaro , Pô , Tiébélé , Zecco and Ziou . The capital of the province is Pô and it has a comparatively low population density (39 inhabitants per km²), due to the history of the settlement, however, the population in the departments is very unevenly distributed.
Two ethnic groups settled in what is now the province: the Nankana and the Kassena . These still dominate today. Mossi and Fulbe live next to them in the province.
