Naju (city)
Naju (Naju-si) is a city in Jeollanam-do Province in South Korea.
Naju was the provincial capital until 1895 when the seat of administration was moved to Gwangju . Dongshin University is based in Naju.
Alleged miracles in Naju
An apparition of Mary is said to have occurred in Nanju . According to Julia Kim, on June 30, 1985 the statue of the Virgin Mary belonging to Julia Kim from Naju began to cry and shed tears and "blood tears" for 700 days until January 14, 1992. The Catholic Church does not recognize these supposed miracles .
