Nathalie Etzensperger

Nathalie Etzensperger-Nanzer (née Nanzer , born August 6, 1968 in Gamsen ) is a Swiss ski mountaineer , marathon and mountain runner .

Etzensperger grew up in her birthplace and completed her training as a medical practice assistant and laboratory assistant. She started elite sport at the age of 24. She is married and has three children. In mountain running, she took part in the 2006 European Mountain Running Championships . She is a member of the Swiss national ski touring team .

Her daughter Lindy Etzensperger is a ski racer.

Successes (selection)

marathon

Etzensperger won the Zermatt Marathon in 2004 and has held the course record in the Aletsch Half Marathon since 2005 , which she also won in 2006.

    • 3rd place at the European Ski Mountaineering Team with Catherine Mabillard
    • 3rd place at the European Ski Mountaineering Championship (with Gabrielle Magnenat and Catherine Mabillard)
    • 3rd place in the European Ski Mountaineering Championship

    • 1st place at the World Ski Mountaineering Championship (with Gabrielle Magnenat, Marie Troillet and Séverine Pont-Combe)
    • 1st place at the Pierra Menta (together with Laëtitia Roux )
    • 2nd place at the World Ski Mountaineering Team with Séverine Pont-Combe
    • 3rd place at the World Championship Vertical Race
    • 3rd place world championship ski mountaineering combined ranking
    • 3rd place at the world championship long distance ski mountaineering
    • 4th place at the world championship ski mountaineering singles

  • 2004: 5th place with Lucia Näfen and Brigitte Wolf
  • 2008: 1st place and new record time with Gabrielle Magnenat and Séverine Pont-Combe
