Nathan Antone Jonah Dyer (born November 29, 1987 in Trowbridge ) is an English football player .

Career

Nathan Dyer began his career at the Southampton FC youth academy . In 2005 he received his first professional contract there and was pulled up into the first team. In order to collect match practice he was awarded to Burnley FC that same year . In the following years it was able to assert itself more and more in Southampton and was used relatively regularly. From 2008 to 2009 he played on loan at Sheffield United , for which he scored once in seven games. A three-month loan to Swansea City followed in 2009 . In Swansea he fitted in so well that he was signed on after his loan. He made his debut in a 2-0 win over Reading FC .
