The Lehmichsbachtal nature reserve extends south of Hufenstuhl and Meegen to southwest of Rott in the town of Overath in the Rheinisch-Bergisch district .

description

The nature reserve includes the entire Lehmichsbachtal with the near-natural Lehmichsbach , which flows into the Agger near Rott , including several spring depths. These include several short side depths as well as the hoofed chair and narrow hoofed chair depths that flow from the north. In addition to individual spruce forests, the valley slopes are largely occupied by old beech forests and mixed deciduous forests, while in Bach floodplains there are alder forests and extensive wet and humid grassland areas.
