The nature reserve Tal der Wolfsbecke is located in the area of ​​the town of Schwelm in the Ennepe-Ruhr district in North Rhine-Westphalia . The nature reserve lies along the Wolfsbecke on the southern edge of the core town of Schwelm. It is located on the Schwelmer Rundweg , a 20-kilometer circular hiking trail around the town of Schwelm.

The 15.0628 ha area has been designated as a nature reserve since 1999 under the identification EN-023 because of the special nature and outstanding beauty of the low mountain stream in a secluded location .
