course
The Neger rises and runs in the central part of the Ebbegebirge Nature Park . Its source lies between the mountains Feldberg ( 536.7 m above sea level ) in the north and Homert ( 556.2 m above sea level ) in the southeast about 0.6 km east of Oberneger, the northeastern part of the Olper district of Neger . It is about 475 m above sea level. NN directly to the west of the district road 18, which connects the nearby Biggesee, passing the village of Neger and the Negerquelle, with the south-east running federal road 55 . Immediately above its source there is a composting plant , to which a garbage dump with the Veischede spring area connects to the east .
The predominantly west-southwest running Neger initially flows through the districts of Ober- and Mitteleger, which belong to Neger, and passes Untereger a few meters to the south. Then it flows through its narrow, forest-lined brook valley to finally reach about 315 m above sea level. NN to flow into the Bieke flowing from the south , which in turn flows a little later into the Biggesee through which the Bigge flows.
