Nemanja Maksimović ( Serbian - Cyrillic Немања Максимовић , born January 26, 1995 in Banja Koviljača ) is a Serbian football player .

Career

society

Nemanja Maksimović started his professional career in 2013 with the Slovenian club NK Domžale . In February 2015 he was signed by the Kazakh first division club FK Astana , with whom he won the Kazakh premier league in 2015 . In the second leg of the 2015/16 UEFA Champions League play-offs against APOEL Nicosia , FK Astana were down 1-0 up until the 84th minute before Nemanja Maksimović scored to equalize 1-1. As a result, FK Astana qualified as the first team from Kazakhstan for the group stage of the Champions League.

In July 2017 he moved to Spain for Valencia CF , where he received a contract that ran until June 2022. In July 2018, he joined league rivals Getafe FC .

National team

With U-19 he became European champion in 2013 . With the U-20 , Maksimović won the U-20 World Cup in 2015 , scoring the decisive goal in the final against Brazil. On March 23, 2016, the midfielder made his debut in the Serbian national team .
