Mathías Olivera , full name Mathías Olivera Miramontes , (born October 31, 1997 in Montevideo ) is a Uruguayan football player .

Career

The 1.84-meter-tall defensive player Olivera has been a member of the youth team Nacional Montevideo since 2010 . In the 2014/15 season he was already on June 6, 2015 in the game against Tacuarembó FC in the matchday squad of the first division team, but has not yet been used. Nacional won the Uruguayan championship that season. On February 14, 2016, he made his debut for the Montevideans in the Primera División , when he was ordered into the starting line-up by coach Gustavo Munúa on matchday 2 of the Clausura in a 3-0 away win against River Plate . In total, he completed two top division games (no goal) in the 2015/16 season. During the 2016 season he was not used in the league, but won the national championship again with the team.

Olivera played four games (no goal) for Uruguay's U-18s in 2015 .
