Mauro Arambarri , full name Mauro Wilney Arambarri Rosa , (born September 30, 1995 in Salto or Tropezón ) is a Uruguayan football player .
Career
society
The 1.75 meter tall midfielder Arambarri first played in his home department Salto for the clubs Gladiador, Tropezón and Nacional. He was also used there in the U-15 department selection. During one of his selection missions he was discovered by José Chilleli and moved to Defensor Sporting in Montevideo at the age of 15 . He has been a member of the Uruguayan first division team since 2013. There he made his debut on the 4th matchday of the first division season 2013/14 in the game against Centro Atlético Fénix in the Primera División . Until the end of the Clausura in 2014, he was used in twelve top division games. He didn't score a goal. In the 2014/15 season he was used 19 times (one goal) in the top Uruguayan league. Another 13 first division appearances followed in Apertura 2015 (no goal). He also played eight games (no goal) of the 2015 Copa Sudamericana . At the end of January 2016, he moved to the French first division club Girondins Bordeaux . He made his debut with the French on February 3, 2016 in the 3-0 away defeat against Olympique Lyon , when he was substituted on by coach Willy Sagnol in the 65th minute for Valentin Vada . In the 2015/16 season he played in five first division games (no goal) and finished 11th in the final table with the team. He was also used once (no goal) in the second team in the CFA. In the following season 2016/17 - each personally goalless - he made four league appearances with the professionals, five in the second team and two in the Coupe de France . In the 2017/18 season he was still used in the Europa League qualifying match against Videoton, but received approval from the French club, although his contract ran until June 2020. The French then transferred him to the Uruguayan first division club Boston River , who immediately loaned Arambarri to the Spanish first division club Getafe . After a year he was firmly committed to Getafe FC.
National team
Arambarri is part of Uruguay's U-20 team . At the beginning of July 2012 he was called to a training course for the U-20s by his coach Juan Verzeri .
In the game against Chile he made his debut on April 15, 2014 under coach Fabián Coito . He was also used on May 20, 2014 in the 1-0 win against Paraguay. On August 4, 2014 against Peru (0: 1), he ran again for the Celeste as well as two days later (1: 1) and in the 1: 0 win on September 24, 2014 against the same opponent.
Arambarri was a member of the Uruguayan squad at the U-20 South American Championship 2015 in Uruguay. Up to and including May 28, 2015, he had 20 U-20 internationals and three goals. He was then one of the selected players to represent Uruguay at the 2015 U-20 World Cup in New Zealand . The "Celeste" were eliminated in the round of 16 after losing on penalties to Brazil.
On May 19, 2015, he was nominated by coach Fabián Coito for the provisional squad of the U-22, which will compete in July 2015 at the Pan American Games 2015 in Toronto .
