Career
Nenad Puljezević signed his first professional contract with RK Red Star Belgrade . With the capital city he was champion and cup winner several times and rose to the national team. In 1998 he moved to league competitor RK Lovćen Cetinje . After 4 years he finally hired abroad for the Hungarian top team SC Pick Szeged . Puljezević achieved cult status there and was cup winners in 2006 and 2008 and champions in 2007. In 2009 he moved to the Serbian club RK Kolubara . On November 3, 2009 he finally signed a contract with TSV Hannover-Burgdorf , which was valid until the end of the 2011/2012 season. Then he guarded the gate of Hanover for another year. He ended his career in 2013. Puljezević was reactivated in April 2014 by the second division TV Hüttenberg. For the 2014/15 season he received a one-year contract with the Swiss club Kadetten Schaffhausen , where he is to act as a backup for the two regular goalkeepers. He was also the goalkeeping coach of the professional team, the youth teams and the Swiss Handball Academy. In the summer of 2015 Puljezević joined the upper division TuS 04 Kaiserslautern-Dansenberg, where he also trains the 2nd team.
Nenad Puljezević had already played 50 international matches for the national team by 2006 and won the bronze medal with Yugoslavia at the 2001 men's handball world championship . Even so, he was overshadowed by Dejan Perić and Arpad Šterbik for most of the time . When the Hungarian team was finally looking for an experienced goalkeeper at the side of Nándor Fazekas for the upcoming men's handball world championship 2007 in Germany , they asked Nenad Puljezević after Šterbik's rejection. He agreed, but only received his new passport two days before departure for Germany. At the World Cup he showed a strong performance and was instrumental in the Hungarian move into the main round. At the European Championship 2008 he finished eighth, at the World Championship 2009 sixth and at the European Championship 2010 14th place.
