Nerijus Valskis (born August 4, 1987 in Klaipėda ) is a Lithuanian football player .
Career
society
Nerijus Valskis played from 2004 to 2005 in the youth of Polonija Vilnius, the association of the Polish minority in Lithuania . When FK Žalgiris Vilnius gave in the A Lyga - 2005 season his professional debut. In 2006 Valskis played for the lower class Kauno Jegeriai before he came to FK Šilutė in January 2007 . After the club was relegated from the first division at the end of 2008 , Valskis moved to the Lithuanian record champions FBK Kaunas . Here he was able to score once in ten games in the 2009 season . With the club he won the Baltic League in 2008 . After just one season, Valskis changed clubs. With FC Smorgon from Belarus , the striker signed his first contract with a club from abroad. In the Belarusian second division , however, he was only used sporadically. In 2010 he was Without Club. In 2011 he played in Latvia at FK Liepājas Metalurgs as a regular player. In 2012 he played again in Belarus for FK Minsk . In 2012 and 2013 he played again in Lithuania with Sūduva Marijampolė . In his second year in Marijampolė , Valskis was the top scorer in the league with 27 goals in 30 games . He then moved to Romania to CS Universitatea Craiova as the reigning top scorer . There he could not convince in two seasons. In the first half of 2015 Valskis played for Wigry Suwałki, a club from Poland, not far from the border with Lithuania. Since July 2015 Valskis played at FK Trakai . There he reached twice the runner-up in the A Lyga behind FK Žalgiris Vilnius. At the beginning of 2017 he moved to Bnei Yehuda Tel Aviv in the Israeli Ligat ha'Al .
National team
Nerijus Valskis played in the Lithuanian U-21s before making his debut in the Lithuanian national team against Latvia under Csaba László in 2013 . At the Baltic Cup 2016 he scored his first goal in the national jersey against Estonia .
