Neubeeren is a residential area in the municipality of Großbeeren in the Teltow-Fläming district in Brandenburg .
location
The residential area is located southwest of the community center. To the north is the district of Ruhlsdorf of the city of Teltow , to the south of Ludwigsfelde and to the west of the district of Sputendorf of the municipality of Stahnsdorf . It lies on the municipal area of 1375 first mentioned village Melvendorf , the 1435 waste fell.
History and etymology
It is handed down from the year 1750 that the "desert Feldmark Melwendorf " should be "occupied with hosts" if there is a chance. In 1770 a field mark Moellendorff modo the built village of Neu-Beeren was first mentioned in a document. At that time it consisted of seven farmhouses and a jug and was founded by Karl Ludwig Ernst von Beeren. Gerhard Schlimpert points out that the addition New indicates a start-up. In addition to a schoolmaster, there was also a shepherd. Karl Ludwig Ernst died in 1769; his son, Hans Heinrich Arnold von Beeren, increased the taxes to be paid so much that the residents moved away and the place fell again into desolation. In 1775 a Vorwerk was built , which was mentioned again in 1801. There was a granny and two campfire sites (= households). The place was fought over during the Battle of Großbeeren , as numerous traditions show. Neubeeren was slow to develop: in 1860 there was a forester's house next to the Vorwerk, plus five farm buildings and two residential buildings. In 1881 the living space, like Großbeeren, came into the possession of the city of Berlin . She continued to operate the Vorwerk and built a workhouse in 1894. Neubeeren has been part of the Großbeeren community since 1928 and was incorporated as a district in 1970. At no time was there a church in the village; the faithful attended the service in Großbeeren.
