Neudörfel is a small settlement and district of Hohenölsen , which has belonged to the city of Weida in the Greiz district in Thuringia since December 31, 2013 .

Neudörfel is about five kilometers west of Hohenölsen on the edge of the Weida valley .

history

The place was first mentioned on April 21, 1120. During the reconstruction after the Thirty Years War, the manor was built first, the first farms were rebuilt in 1690. The hamlet-like place was mentioned in 1728 as Neundörfel . In the 19th century, a dozen houses for the farm workers of the manor were built along the two main routes.

As an exclave , the place was at times an independent municipality and belonged to the Princely House of Reuss older line . With 140 inhabitants in 1905, the place experienced its heyday, currently around 100 people still live in Neudörfel. On October 1, 1922, the Russian and Weimar areas around Weida were united. The incorporation of Neudörfel to Dittersdorf was made in 1946, but in 1950 Dittersdorf was incorporated into Zickra and 1974 to Clodra , Neudörfel was "given up" to Hohenölsen.
