Nicholas Henderson (born July 5, 1990 in New Plymouth ) is a New Zealand ice hockey player who has played for the West Auckland Admirals in the New Zealand Ice Hockey League since 2010 .

Career

Nicholas Henderson has been playing with the West Auckland Admirals since the beginning of his career as an ice hockey player , for whom he played in the New Zealand Ice Hockey League for the first time in the 2010 season. In his very first season he and his team became New Zealand runners-up after a 3-1 defeat in the final against Botany Swarm . Also in 2017 he was New Zealand runners-up with the team after defeats in the final against the Southern Stampede . In 2018 the title was won for the first time with a final victory against the Southern Stampede.

International

In the junior division, Henderson was on the ice for New Zealand in the 2010 Division III.

With the men's national team , the defender took part in the World Championships of Division II in 2013 , 2014 , 2015 , when he was the second best scorer behind the Bulgarian Ivan Khodulov together with the Chinese Cui Xijun and was voted the best player of his team in 2016 , 2017 , 2018 and 2019 part.
