Niddawitzhausen is a district of Eschwege in the Werra-Meißner district in northern Hesse .
geography
Niddawitzhausen is located 8 km southwest of Eschwege in northern Hesse . The buildings in Eltmannshausen and Niddawitzhausen almost merge. In the east, the Bebra – Göttingen railway line , built in 1876, and federal road 27 pass the town.
history
In 1939 the place had 327 inhabitants. Even then, Niddawitzhausen was part of the Eschwege district court and tax office.
On April 1, 1972, the previously independent place was incorporated into the district town of Eschwege as part of the regional reform in Hesse .
