Nina Horowitz

Nina Horowitz (born May 14, 1977 in Vienna ) is an Austrian journalist and television presenter .

Life

Nina Horowitz studied journalism , political science and history at the University of Vienna , completing her degree with a Magistra . During her studies she worked at ORF as a researcher for the talk show Vera with Vera Russwurm . She then worked as a volunteer at the Austrian daily newspaper Der Standard and the Swiss weekly magazine Die Weltwoche . From 1999 she was editor for the tabloid Everything and wrote a daily social column for it. In 2000 he switched to the news magazine Profil .

In 2003 she returned to television and was initially editor of the talk show Bei Stöckl with Barbara Stöckl . After working in program development, in 2006 she took over the editorial management of the television program Thursday Night at ORF . In 2007, she was responsible for broadcasting the infotainment magazine, like please? . She has been working for the Am Schauplatz series of reports since 2009 . For her report Voller Dreck she was awarded the Dr.-Karl-Renner-Publizistikpreis in the category television and the journalist award WINFRA in 2017. She also directs and presents the weekly report format Panorama on ORF 2 , in which, among other things, excerpts from previous programs such as Panorama , Horizonte , Tele Lens , Prisma and Jolly Joker are shown.

In October 2019 it was announced that from 2020 she will take over the presentation of the show Liebesstichten und Marriagessachen as the successor to Elizabeth T. Spira, who died in March 2019 .

Horowitz is married to the director of Puls 4 , Stefanie Groiss-Horowitz, and has two children.
