Nina Maleika (* in Hamburg ) is a German - Egyptian singer , songwriter , presenter , actress and model .

life and career

Nina Maleika was born in Hamburg as the daughter of an Egyptian father and a German mother. At the age of 14 she received several years of singing and acting training at the Vocalis singing studio and with Johannes Schaefer at the Chansonerie Singing School in Hamburg. At the age of 16, Maleika founded her first band.

From 2005 to 2006 she attended the North German Dance Theater with Rotraut de Neve , where she completed the additional qualification YOP Year of Performance and completed her training with the CPT (community performance teacher) certificate .

In the following years, the first professional successes came. Orders for Europe-wide advertising jingles in TV and cinema for well-known large companies followed.

As a studio and live singer as well as a copywriter, she has worked with well-known artists and producers such as Roger Cicero , Stefan Raab , Semino Rossi , Jan Delay , Sarah Connor , Yvonne Catterfeld , Bro'Sis and Max Herre . In 2004 she appeared as a guest singer on the Soulounge Germany tour with Roger Cicero.

As the first soprano soloist, she had international appearances a. a. in Barcelona , New York City and Taiwan with the London musical production ABBA-Fever as Agnetha and at the world premiere of the musical Hafenengel at Kampnagel Hamburg . At the German Open tennis tournaments in 2009 and 2010 in Hamburg-Rotherbaum , she appeared as a singer at the opening and the final. This was followed in 2011 by duets with Udo Lindenberg on MTV Unplugged - Live Aus Dem Hotel Atlantic ( Track 2: Mein Ding ) and Rock gegen Rechts .

With Mellow Mark she entered the Bundesvision Song Contest 2012 for the state of Brandenburg . Several television appearances, u. a. at TV totally followed. In 2013 she was hired as a presenter for the Skate Aid Night and the Guinness World Records Day .

In 2012 Nina Maleika traveled to Afghanistan as an ambassador for the Alma Terra Association to support the construction of playgrounds and sports fields. She is committed to the Hamburg association Lukulule eV and gives singing and performance lessons to children and adults throughout Germany and works in many projects for disabled people.

Her first solo album, Im Zirkus, is currently being produced .
