Norbert Buschlinger (born December 6, 1957 ) is a former German soccer player.

career

The defensive talent Buschlinger came to the amateur division of Bundesliga club 1. FC Kaiserslautern in 1978 via the stations ASV Esthal and VfL Neustadt . He was first used by coach Karlheinz Feldkamp in the 1980/81 season on March 7, 1981 in the Bundesliga . Due to the failure of the regular players Hans-Günter Neues and Wolfgang Wolf , the player from the amateur team was used and the defense in the away game against MSV Duisburg was filled with Buschlinger, Werner Melzer , Michael Dusek and Hans-Peter Briegel . The game ended in a 1-1 draw. Buschlinger's seventh and last appearance in the Bundesliga was on May 29, 1981 in a 2-0 away win against Fortuna Düsseldorf when he came on for defender Wolfgang Wolf in the 37th minute.

After he did not calculate any realistic chances of playing against the strong competition in Kaiserslautern - the Lautrer took fourth place in the Bundesliga in 1980/81 - he moved to the 2nd Bundesliga at Alemannia Aachen for the 1981/82 round . In the cathedral city, Buschlinger experienced turbulent times on the coaching bench with the black and yellow from the Tivoli stadium - Ahmann, Habig, Buhtz, Cendic, Ahmann, Fuchs, Ferner, Neururer, Grünther, Denizli, Krautzun - but quickly established himself as a regular at the side by Wolfgang Dramsch, Joaquín Montañés , Dietmar Grabotin and Rolf Grünther . The best placings during his time in Aachen were the two fifth places in 1985 and 1987 under coach Werner Fuchs . After the ninth round, 1989/90, the defender with the Tivoli-Elf rose as 19th from the 2nd division. From 1981 to 1990 he had played a total of 283 league games in the 2nd Bundesliga and scored three goals. He stayed in Aachen after relegation and played in the amateur upper league of North Rhine.

After the end of his active career, he coached various teams, for example from December 1998 to April 1999 the women's Bundesliga team of 1. FFC 08 Niederkirchen .
