Norbert König (born September 4, 1958 in Deichsende ) is a German television presenter .

biography

After König had completed his Abitur at the Amandus-Abendroth-Gymnasium in Cuxhaven , he studied journalism , American studies and sports in Berlin . He gained his first experience in sports journalism in radio with the broadcaster Free Berlin and the private broadcaster Havelwelle. Since May 1987 he has been a freelance presenter and interviewer for the Second German Television ( ZDF ). There he moderated sports on Sundays and in the children's program the sports program Pfiff and the children's talk show Exactly . Since 1990 he has moderated the ZDF sports report and Sport Extra and regularly presents the sports reports in the heute broadcast at 7 p.m. and in the ZDF midday magazine . He works as a moderator and interviewer for external broadcasts ( athletics , tennis , ski jumping , biathlon , alpine skiing ). As a reporter , König looks after fencing and table tennis . From 1992 to 1994 he moderated the current sports studio . In 2016 he commented on the games on Germany's super brain broadcast .

Since 1988 he has reported on all the Winter and Summer Olympic Games for ZDF .

König is married and has two sons. It comes from the Deichsende district of Nordholz at the mouth of the Weser.
