reception

  • Neue Presse Coburg: “In the Leporellos register aria, Norman D. Patzke is allowed to present himself extensively for the first time as the secret hero of the evening. He appears as Don Giovanni's alter ego in a gold suit, but he is more: Vocally, he shines with a powerful and in places flattering-supple bass-baritone that now and then even overtakes his master. "
  • The opera lover: “Norman D. Patzke left no doubt that he is an ideal cast for the Leporello. Here we are dealing with an extremely splendid, Italian-trained, full, round and sonorous bass voice, whose splendor and majesty rightly made him the crowd's favorite of the evening. "
  • MDR Figaro: "Norman D. Patzke is the highlight of the evening, both playfully and singingly." (Opernmagazin, April 10, 2010)
