history

Around 1600 the Vogtei Kleingrosse including the Kaltenhof was combined with the Niederhof Rothwasser to form a single unit. While the Vogtei Kleingrosse was later separated from the Niederhof Rothwasser, the Kaltenhof remained at Nieder Rothwasser. Kaspar von Sternberg-Rudelsdorf , who acquired the Nieder Rothwasser estate in 1797, had the Neu Kleinkrosse colony built on the site of the Kaltenhof a little later . Around 1800 there were 4 houses with 29 German-speaking residents in Neu-Kleinkrosse .

In 1836 the Neu-Kleinkrose colony , which was connected with Großkrose and Voigtkrose , consisted of 7 isolated houses surrounded by a small stream, in which 50 people lived. There was a manorial sheep farm and a brandy distillery in the village. The parish and school location was Weidenau . Until the middle of the 19th century, Neu-Kleinkrosse remained subordinate to the Nieder Rothwasser estate.

After the abolition of patrimonial formed New Small Krusty / Nová Malá Kraš 1849 a district of the municipality Rothwasser / Cervena Voda in the judicial district Weidenau . From 1869 the colony belonged to the Freiwaldau district.

In the census of 1921, 60 people lived in the 10 houses of Neu Kleinkrosse , including 59 Germans and one Czech. In 1924, Neu Kleinkrosse was changed from Alt Rothwasser to Weidenau. In 1930 Neu Kleinkrosse had 56 inhabitants and consisted of 10 houses. After the Munich Agreement , the colony was assigned to the German Reich in 1938 and belonged to the Freiwaldau district until 1945 . After the end of the Second World War, Nová Malá Kraš came back to Czechoslovakia; most of the German-speaking residents were expelled in 1945/46 . In 1976 Nová Malá Kraš lost the status of a district of Vidnava.
