Church of St. Isidore

Nové Losiny (German Neu Ullersdorf ) is a district of the municipality Jindřichov in the Czech Republic . It is located five kilometers northeast of Hanušovice and belongs to the Okres Šumperk .

geography

Nové Losiny extends at the western foot of the Jeseníky Mountains at the transition to the Goldensteiner Bergland in the valleys of the Branná river and its tributary Novolosinský potok. To the north rises the Losín ( Hirschenstein , 726 m), in the northeast the Polom (1126 m) and the Černá stráň ( Schwarzleithe , 1236 m), to the east the Tři Kameny ( Dreistein , 925 m) and Sklenský vrch ( Orlich , 866 m) , in the southeast of the Ucháč ( Ohrberg , 1008 m), west of the Rudný vrch ( Erzberg , 628 m) and in the northwest of the Peklo ( Höllenberg , 649 m). The Hanušovice – Głuchołazy railway line runs through Nové Losiny along the Branná , and there is a railway station in the village.

Neighboring towns are Františkov and Bělidlo in the north, Annín and Kouty nad Desnou in the east, Přemyslov, Loučná nad Desnou and Bukovice in the south-east, Labe in the south, Jindřichov and Pleče in the south-west, Habartice and Rudkov in the west and Vikantice in the north-west.

history

Neu Ullersdorf was founded in 1561 by the Goldenstein rule . In the hoof register of 1677, 30 farmers and gardeners and 18 bystanders are identified for the village. Between 1711 and 1714 the church of St. Isidore, which was elevated to parish church in 1784. In 1834 819 people lived in the 107 houses in Neu Ullersdorf.

After the abolition of patrimonial Neu Ullersdorf / Nové Losiny with the districts Franzenthal / Františkov, Hohe Elbe / Vysoká Elba and Neu Josefsthal / Josefov formed a municipality in the district of Mährisch Schönberg and the judicial district of Mährisch Altstadt from 1850 . In the village there was a mill and in 1892 a pale plant was built north of the village near Franzenthal. The village school has been teaching three classes since 1900. Most of the 1191 residents worked in the Heinrichsthal paper mill and in the manorial forest at that time . In 1930 the community had 1,150 inhabitants, nine of whom were Czech.

After the Munich Agreement , the place was added to the German Reich in 1938 and belonged to the Mährisch Schönberg district until 1945 . In 1939 Neu Ullersdorf had 1,122 inhabitants. After the Second World War, the German residents were expelled and the Czechs settled.

In 1950 Nové Losiny consisted of 218 houses and only had 461 inhabitants. Josefová lost its status as a district in 1965 and was given up. Nové Losiny has been incorporated into Jindřichov since 1976 . In 1991, 53 houses in Nové Losiny were permanently used for residential purposes and 190 people lived in them. In 2001 the village consisted of 67 houses in which 149 people lived.

The settlements Františkov ( Franzenthal ) and Labe ( Elbe ) as well as the desert area Josefová ( Neu Josefsthal ) belong to the district Nové Losiny .
