Nowa Wieś (German: Neudorf ) is a district of Strzelce Opolskie ( Groß Strehlitz ) and a Schulzenamt of the Strzelce Opolskie municipality in Poland .
history
In 1865 Neudorf consisted of a manor in addition to the village. The village had eight gardeners, three cottagers and nine residents. At this time Neudorf was schooled in Groß Strehlitz. The manor was originally owned by an Opole monastery, was sold to the tax collector Grimm in 1787, and in 1828 it passed to Count Renard.
In the referendum in Upper Silesia on March 20, 1921, 30 eligible voters voted to remain with Germany and 69 for Poland. Neudorf remained with the German Empire . Until 1945 the place was in the district of Groß Strehlitz .
In 1945 the previously German place came under Polish administration and was renamed Nowa Wieś and joined the Silesian Voivodeship. In 1950 the place came to the Opole Voivodeship . In 1999 the place came to the re-established Powiat Strzelecki and was incorporated into the town of Strzelce Opolskie (Groß Strehlitz).
