Nowe Miasto nad Wartą ( German : Neustadt an der Warthe ) is a village and the seat of a municipality in Poland in the Powiat Średzki of the Greater Poland Voivodeship .

The rural community Nowe Miasto nad Wartą includes 20 districts. Most of them officially had Polish names before 1919, or the German names were only minor modifications of the Polish ones. Then, during the Second World War, German names were invented. Some were valid for a few years, some never came into force with a Schulzenamt:

  • Boguszyn ( Boguschin , on May 18, 1943 planned renaming to Bogenfelde or Bogenwalde no longer came into force)

  • Dębno ( Dembno , renamed to Eichenried between 1821 and 1919 )
  • Klęka ( Klenka ; on May 18, 1943 planned renaming to Linderhof or Klinkhof no longer came into force)
  • Kolniczki ( Kolniczki , renamed to Kollnitz during World War II )
  • Komorze [Komorze Nowomiejskie] (should be renamed to Netherlands or Kömmersdorf during World War II )
  • Kruczyn ( Kruczyn (village) , after 1940 renamed Cherry Village )
