Null Acht (with the subtitle Magazin für Rasenpflege ) was an Austrian football magazine that was published from October 2007 to March 2009 by the Viennese publisher Club Bellevue . The magazine appeared six times in total. Launched were from 10000 to 40000 pieces sold was newsagents ( Morawa ) and via subscription . Zero Eight was 230 mm by 320 mm, with a minimum of 64 pages.

Null Acht was an independent magazine for football culture . The focus was, among other things, on detailed interviews ( ball discussions ), for example with: Paul Gludovatz , Carsten Jancker , Robert Seeger , Andy Marek , Udo Huber , Günter Benkö , Raphael Honigstein , Alfred Tatar and the former captain of the Brazilian Seleção : Sócrates . Each issue also dealt with a key topic ( central midfield ), such as doping (issue 4) or Brazil (issue 6). In the department Im Abseits , articles have been published about marginal phenomena or little-noticed aspects of football , for example about the soccer world championship for the homeless , Sepak Takraw or the Peladão , one of the largest amateur soccer tournaments in the world, in the Brazilian state of Amazonas .
Editing, authors and publisher
The football magazine was founded by Alois Gstöttner , who also acted as publisher and editor-in-chief . From the fourth edition, Christoph Schmiedhofer was also the editor-in-chief. Other members of the editorial team were: Markus Eder, Martin Fetz, Karina Lackner, Jürgen Pucher, Joachim Techt and the photographer David Schreyer. Among the etabliertesten authors of included German sports journalist Ronald Reng and FM4 - Moderator Martin Blumenau .
The publisher Bellevue was also editor of the cultural magazine Bob that after a legal dispute with the Mobilkom Austria AG , or the mobile brand Bob was set in the year of 2007. According to its own definition, Club Bellevue is an "independent platform for journalistic discussion of culture, sport and society".
Film series: In the floodlights
Parallel to the magazine was in Vienna cinema Schikaneder a monthly soccer film series - called the floodlights - initiated. The first film was the Austria- premiere of Maradona by Kusturica the director Emir Kusturica in October 2009. Prior to the 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa were weekly movies or reports with Africa shown -Schwerpunkt.
Awards
The third edition of Zero Eight was awarded silver at the international Joseph Binder Award in December 2008 . The sixth and final edition received the CCA Award in spring 2010 .
