Symbols

coat of arms

The coat of arms was approved on March 12, 1997 by the Dessau regional council and registered in the Magdeburg State Main Archives under the coat of arms roll number 18/1997.

Blazon : "In silver over a blue corrugated shield, a red, black-jointed arched bridge, in the shield head three red millstones with silver mill iron bars ."

In silver, a red arched bridge spans a blue wave shield - a symbol of the Nuthe river that gave its name to the community. It is the old stone bridge over the Nuthe, which connects the districts and was the motif of the seal picture for Nutha for decades. The three red millstones, covered with silver mill irons, in the head of the shield are reminiscent of the three former mills of Nutha and at the same time symbolize the three districts of the community.

The colors of Nuthas are red-silver (white), they document the affiliation with Anhalt.

The coat of arms was designed by the Magdeburg heraldist Erika Fiedler .

flag

The flag is red and white striped lengthways. The municipality's coat of arms is placed in the middle of the flag.
