Moritz is a district of the city of Zerbst / Anhalt in the district of Anhalt-Bitterfeld in Saxony-Anhalt (Germany).

Until December 31, 2009 Moritz was an independent municipality with the associated districts of Schora and Töppel as well as the Moritzer Mühle residential area. 318 inhabitants lived on a community area of ​​16.18 km² (December 31, 2008). On January 1, 2010 the incorporation into Zerbst / Anhalt took place .

The village of Moritz, northwest of Zerbst, lies between the southwestern edge of the Fläming and the valley of the middle Elbe . The slightly hilly area in the Nuthe catchment area gradually slopes down to the south.

In terms of natural space , the place belongs to the Zerbster Land , an arable, open cultural landscape and 536 km² main unit of the superordinate main unit group of the Fläming in the north German lowlands . The Zerbster Land forms the southwestern roof of the Fläming to the Elbe and belongs to the catchment area of ​​this river.
