CSM Școlar Reșița is a Romanian football club from Reșița . He was once Romanian football champion. The club currently plays in League 2.
history
CSM Școlar Reșița was founded in 1926 as UDR Reșița and celebrated its greatest success in 1931 , winning the Romanian football championship. The following year UDR was runner-up behind Venus Bucharest . After the Second World War , the club initially renamed itself Metalochimic Reșița (1948) and Metalul Reșița (1949). In 1954, the Romanian Cup was won in the final against Dinamo Bucharest . In 1956, the club changed its name to Energia Reșița , from 1975 to 1982 it was called FCM Reșița (Fotbal Club Muncitoresc) before it was renamed CSM Reșița . In the summer of 2005, the third division became the satellite team of Universitatea Craiova . In return, Tricotaje Ineu was bought the right to start in Divizia B for 80,000 euros , so that in the 2005/06 season , FCM Reșița, a new club that was financed by the local authorities, the Universitatea Eftimie Murgu and a businessman from the region, could compete. From 2009 to 2019 the club appeared under the name CSM Școlar Reșița .
