Oberscherli is a village in the municipality of Köniz in the canton of Bern in Switzerland . The village is located about 8 km southwest of Bern at 735  m above sea level. M.

Oberscherli forms together with Niederscherli a postal district and has a kindergarten and a primary school . The hamlet of Scherliau also belongs to the district . Many apartments and single-family houses have been built in the last three decades. Currently 479 people live in Oberscherli.
