Odysseus Eskitzoglou ( Greek Οδυσσέας Εσκιτζόγλου ; * May 3, 1932 in Piraeus ; † August 26, 2018 there ) was a Greek sailor .
successes
Odysseus Eskitzoglou took part in the Olympic Games three times in the dragon boat class . During his Olympic debut in Rome in 1960 , he was a crew member alongside Georgios Zaimis on the Greek boat of helmsman Konstantin von Greece . In their boat Nirefs they were Olympic champions with 6733 points ahead of the Argentinian and Italian boats . In 1964 in Tokyo Eskitzoglou, this time helmsman himself, took eighth place with crew member Georgios Zaimis, and at the 1968 Olympic Games in Mexico City he did not get past 15th place with Zaimis.
