Ole Poulsen (born December 16, 1941 in Maglegård ) is a former Danish sailor .

successes

Ole Poulsen, who sailed for the Hellerup Sejlklub , took part in the kite boat class at the 1964 Olympic Games in Tokyo . As a crew member of the White Lady , he became Olympic champion together with Christian von Bülow and skipper Ole Berntsen with 5854 points . They narrowly prevailed against the German boat Mutafo led by Peter Ahrendt with 5826 points. A year later, Poulsen became world champion in kites in Sandhamn .

His grandmother Yutta Barding fought at the Olympic Games in 1924, as did his mother Ulla Barding-Poulsen in 1936 and 1952 .
