Oklahoma Music Hall of Fame
The Oklahoma Music Hall of Fame is a hall of fame in Muskogee that honors musicians from the US state of Oklahoma for their lifetime achievements.
history
The idea of a Hall of Fame in Oklahoma arose in 1995. Its introduction was decided in parliament the following year. Musicians have been inducted into the Hall of Fame every year since 1997. Sometimes bands, radio stations, journalists or organizations from Oklahoma were also honored. Today there is also a museum next to the Hall of Fame. Both are operated by the Oklahoma Music Hall of Fame & Museum, Inc.
