Olga Limburg (born April 5, 1881 in Düsseldorf , † March 7, 1970 in Berlin ) was a German actress .

Life

She began her artistic career in 1901 with an engagement at the Municipal Theater in Poznan . Since 1902 she has played on Berlin theaters, including the stands , the Metropol Theater , the Berlin Lustspielhaus , the Komödie and the Theater am Kurfürstendamm . At first she embodied mainly salon ladies , later she worked in the field of "funny old people".

Olga Limburg has been employed in film since 1915. In the twenties and thirties she was one of the busiest supporting actresses in German cinema and acted as aunts, neighbors, housekeepers and other women next door. Her urn was buried in the St. Anne's churchyard .
