The Yemeni Arab Republic took part in the 1988 Summer Olympics in Seoul , South Korea , with a delegation of eight athletes (all men). It was the second and last participation in the Summer Olympics after 1984. After North Yemen united with South Yemen, Yemen first took part in the Olympic Games as a united nation in 1992.
