The men's 10-meter platform diving competition at the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro was held on August 19 and 20, 2016 in Parque Aquático Maria Lenk . 28 athletes took part.

Each of the 28 starters was entitled to six qualifying jumps. The 18 best jumpers qualified for the semi-finals, the points from the qualification were deleted. Six jumps were completed again in the semi-finals. The 12 best jumpers made it to the final, in which the points were deleted again. In the final, too, there were six jumps.

In total, only two jumps achieved a rating of over 100 points. With 103.60 points, Thomas Daley made the jump with the best mark in the qualification in the fourth round.

After the two lowest scores were deleted, Chen Aisen's last jump was graded as perfect. Without exception, the judges also awarded ten points for Qiu Bo's third jump , who lost a medal because of two major mistakes.
