The synchronized jumping from the 10-meter tower for women at the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro was held on August 9, 2016 in Parque Aquático Maria Lenk . 16 athletes (eight couples) took part.
The competition was carried out in one round with five jumps each.
As in the previous four events of this competition, a couple from China won: Chen Ruolin won gold in this discipline for the third time in a row, this time with Liu Huixia . The silver medal went to Jun Hoong Cheong and Pandelela Rinong Pamg from Malaysia, who gave their country the first medal in synchronized jumping at the Olympic Games. Bronze went to the third in London 2012 , the Canadians Meaghan Benfeito and Roseline Filion .
