The OnePlus 6T is a manufacturer OnePlus developed and sold smartphone . It was officially presented on October 30, 2018 as the successor to the OnePlus 6 and has been available in Germany since November 6, 2018.
Design and technology
Design, case and display
Glass was used as the material on the back. The display is protected with 2.5D Gorilla Glass 6 . It has a diagonal of 6.41 "and a resolution of 2340 × 1080 pixels. Optic AMOLED display technology is used for this.
The fingerprint sensor in the display is new for this model series, which saves space on the front.
At the bottom there is a USB Type C port, which is responsible for charging the battery and for transferring data, as well as for transferring audio signals. For the first time, OnePlus did without a 3.5 mm jack socket. This means that the user only has one physical connection available.
Digital cameras
Oneplus digital cameras are installed on both the front and the rear . A dual camera with two sensors with 16 (IMX519) and 20 megapixels (IMX376K) from the manufacturer Sony is used on the back, while a 16 megapixel sensor of the type IMX 371 is installed on the front.
Processor and memory
The OnePlus 6T has the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor with eight cores, which is supported by 6, 8 or 10 gigabytes of LPDDR4X memory. Depending on the version, the mass storage is 128 or 256 gigabytes, a 64 gigabyte variant is omitted for the first time.
software
The device is delivered with OnePlus' own OxygenOS , based on Android 9 "Pie". Services from Google such as the Play Store or the Chrome browser are preinstalled ex works and cannot be uninstalled.
McLaren Edition
From December 13, 2018, OnePlus will be selling a special edition in cooperation with McLaren with u. a. 10 GB RAM, a carbon fiber back and WarpCharge 30 , with which the device can be charged to 50% in 20 minutes.
