The OnePlus 7 Pro is a manufacturer OnePlus developed smartphone . It was officially presented together with the OnePlus 7 on May 14, 2019 as the successor to the OnePlus 6T .
Design and hardware
The OnePlus 7 Pro consists of Corning Gorilla Glass on the front and back , but wireless charging via the Qi standard is not possible. It has a dual nano SIM card slot , but does not offer memory expansion through microSD cards. For quick unlocking, the device has an optical fingerprint sensor embedded in the display , as well as face recognition using the front camera, which automatically extends and retracts from the housing at the top left.
Three cameras are installed on the back, two of which are optically stabilized . In addition to the main camera, a lens with triple optical zoom and a wide-angle lens are installed. The device can record video in slow motion (240 frames per second at 1080p ) or in 4K at 60 frames per second.
According to the manufacturer, the cell phone is splash-proof and can withstand brief immersion in water, but does not have an official IP certification. As with most devices, water damage is not covered by the warranty.
As in the OnePlus 7, the 7 Pro also features the particularly fast UFS 3.0 memory, which is available in versions up to 256 GB.
The display has a refresh rate of 90 Hz and is therefore particularly fluid. Since the display takes up almost the entire front, the front camera is installed in such a way that it can automatically slide out of the housing via a pop-up system if necessary.
software
As on all OnePlus smartphones, the OnePlus 7 Pro also runs a variant of Android . HydrogenOS runs in China, the country of origin of OnePlus, and OxygenOS in the rest of the world . Both operating systems are developed by OnePlus on the basis of Android.
