The OnePlus 6 is a manufacturer OnePlus developed smartphone . It was officially presented on May 16, 2018 as the successor to the OnePlus 5T . It has been available online in Germany since May 22, 2018 in the colors Silk White , Midnight Black , Mirror Black and (from July 2018) Red . The OnePlus 6 is also being sold on Amazon for the first time .
Design and technology
The OnePlus 6 consists of Corning Gorilla Glass 5 on the front and back . Wireless charging via the Qi standard is not possible despite the glass housing. It has a dual nano SIM card slot , but does not offer any memory expansion using microSD cards. Unlocking options are available through either a fingerprint sensor on the back or face recognition .
Two cameras are installed on the back, which are stabilized by OIS and EIS . They can be used to record video in slow motion (720p 480fps, 1080p 240fps) or in 4K with 60 frames per second.
Furthermore, the mobile phone is splash-proof and can withstand brief immersion in water. However, the cell phone does not have an IP certification. Water damage is not covered by the warranty.
