The OnePlus 5T is one of OnePlus developed and sold smartphone . It was officially presented on November 16, 2017 as the successor to the OnePlus 5 and is sold almost exclusively on the manufacturer's website in the European Union .

Technical specifications

The OnePlus 5T has a 6.01-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 2160 × 1080 pixels. That display has an aspect ratio of 2: 1, which more or less became the norm for modern smartphones in 2017. The processor is the Snapdragon 835 with eight cores (up to 2.45 gigahertz) which, depending on the variant, has 6 gigabytes or 8 gigabytes of RAM available (LPDDR4X), as well as 64 gigabytes or 128 gigabytes of internal UFS-2.1 -Storage.

The battery has a total of 3,300 mAh and is charged via the USB Type C port. Dash-Charge is used as a fast charging method .

As radio technology there is WLAN , Bluetooth 5.0 and NFC .

Digital cameras

There are three cameras, two on the back and one in the front. On the back there is a 16-megapixel sensor of the type Sony IMX 398 with an f / 1.7 aperture and a 20-megapixel sensor of the type Sony IMX 376K with an aperture of f / 1.7. The front camera uses a Sony IMX 371 sensor with a resolution of 16 megapixels and an f / 2.0 aperture.

software

OnePlus' own Android modification, OxygenOS , which is based on Android 7.1.1, is preinstalled on the OnePlus 5T . Android 8.1 has been distributed since April 15, 2018. Android 9.0 (Pie) has been available since September 2018. The update to Android 10 was rolled out in June 2020.
