The Orienteering Association of Hong Kong ( traditional characters :香港定向總會; English Orienteering Association of Hong Kong, OAHK ) is the Orienteering Association of China Special Administrative Region of Hong Kong . It was founded in 1981 and is a full member of the International Orienteering Federation (IOF).

history

After it was founded in 1981 and accepted into the IOF in 1982, Hong Kong hosted the Orienteering World Cup in 1988 . The association is based in the Causeway Bay district . The association has 25 clubs and 16 other groups (as of 2013). Hong Kong has been taking part in world championships since 1985 and was able to achieve a 48th place in the men's sprint in 2003 by Siu Tung Hui and a 20th place in the relay for women in 2005 as the best result .
