The Danish Orienteering Federation ( Danish Dansk Orienterings-Forbund, DOF ) is the national orienteering umbrella organization of Denmark . It was founded on December 3rd, 1950 and is a founding member of the International Orienteering Federation (IOF) and a member of the Danmarks Idrætsforbund (DIF).
history
Until the establishment of the DOF on December 3, 1950, orienteering in Denmark was organized by the Dansk Ski- og Orienterings-Forbund . The ski orienteering in Denmark is still organized by the Dansk Ski Association.
