Oslo Jazz Festival
The Oslo Jazz Festival has been held annually since 1986 for a week in Oslo in mid-August . In addition to jazz, other styles such as blues or soul are presented.
The main venues are the cathedral , the children's art museum , the Sentralen- Kulturhaus, the opera house , the Grand Hotel and the national jazz stage in the Victoria Teater . In addition, it is played in various clubs (such as the Cosmopolite ).

Since 1995, a sculpture by Mariann Hazeland depicting Ella Fitzgerald has been presented annually to a person who sponsored the festival and the jazz scene in Oslo.
