Our Happy Hardcore is the second studio album by the German dance band Scooter . The album reached number 17 in the sales charts in Germany and is therefore more successful than the previous album ... and the Beat Goes On! . In addition, at number 9 in the album charts, it is the best-placed Scooter album in Switzerland to date . The CD also includes a multimedia part for the computer that includes a kart game demo, a music video of the song Back In The UK and some information. This is the first multimedia part ever released on a CD by a German band. A VHS cassette called "Happy Hardcore Clips" was also released for the album .

The cover of the album shows the title Our Happy Hardcore on an orange background, around which the three Scooter members are grouped. It was designed by Marc Schilkowski , who was also responsible for the design of other Scooter covers. The photos are from Andreas Kess.

An extended edition of the album was released in the same year on the label Victor Entertainment Japan, but was not available in Germany for a long time. It contains five additional tracks, including remixes of all three single releases from the original album, including by Commander Tom .

music

The song Last Minute is a happy-hardcore version of the Hebrew folk song Hava Nagila , while Rebel Yell a cover of the hit of the same name by Billy Idol is built in the 1984th The song Back In The UK samples a melody from the Miss Marple films that was written by Ron Goodwin . In the original version, this song was in the charts earlier.

Stuttgart is a purely instrumental piece, without the typical Scooter spoken vocals by HP Baxxter. The hard trance piece This Is A Monstertune and other songs on this album also have no voice.

Crank It Up is a stylistically close to gabber piece.
