We bring the noise! ( Eng. "We bring the noise") is the eighth studio album by the German techno band Scooter from 2001.

The album was released on June 11, 2001 and, like almost every Scooter album, contains 12 tracks. There are hardly any experiments or elements alien to the style to be found on the album, and Scooter is returning to the dance genre. On the CD you can find a number of cover versions, including the title Habibi Halua , which almost completely corresponds to a Dead-Can-Dance theme, and Devil Drums , which is based on the at the same time quite successful Played Alive by Safri Duo represents.

The album reached number 15 in the German album charts. In Austria , the album was ranked 32 in which Switzerland ranked 74, and the 8th place in Finland and 9 in Sweden .

Posse (I Need You On The Floor)

The single was released on May 21, 2001 and reached number 3 on the Irish charts. In Germany and Austria the single made it to number 7, in Great Britain and Denmark to 15th place. The single reached number 43 in Switzerland. The track is reminiscent of certain melody passages from Anne Clark's Just After Sunset: The Poetry of Rainer Maria Rilke , the first line of the lyrics ("Tyree Cooper, the producer, but now it's scooter who are super duper! ") is also a slightly modified version of a line of text from Turn Up The Bass by Tyree Cooper from 1988 .

I Shot the DJ (Aiii Shot the DJ)

The single was released on August 13, 2001 . It reached 29th place in Germany, 22nd in Austria and 98th in Switzerland. In Finland the single made it to rank 16 and in Sweden to rank 37. The German comedian Helge Schneider played in the video for the single .
